WRITER/DIRECTOR - Katherine Elisabeth Clark
PRODUCER - Adrian Colón
DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT - Annika Horne

A struggling dancer arrives on the Moon with a one-way ticket and the promise of opportunity.

Francine’s Moon Landing is a short narrative film that uses sci-fi, magical realism, and absurdist comedy to tell the story of a dancer who wins a one-way ticket to the moon.

Through creative storytelling, Francine’s Moon Landing will examine the sustainability of arts labor, space travel, and public arts engagement. This project will be a collaboration with filmmakers, performers, dancers, and choreographers in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Francine’s Moon Landing has been generously supported by The Philadelphia Independent Media Fund administered by Scribe Video Center with funds provided by the Independence Public Media Foundation and the Wyncote Foundation.

We are currently seeking support for production expenses, fair pay for collaborators and artists, and community engagement events.
